Silvana Churruca

General Director

Specialist in Cognitive Systems and Media from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF); Specialist in Theory of Communal Design and Esp. In Strategic Management of Design from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

She is currently the CEO of the Payment Innovation Hub, a JV founded by CaixaBank, Global Payments, Visa, Ingenico and Arval with the purpose of boosting R+D+i projects that bring the best and most innovative experiences in payment methods to society. Previously, she managed the CaixaBank Payments Customer Experience team. With a strong multidisciplinary background, Silvana is an expert in the areas of Customer Experience, UX and UX Research, where she has been working for more than 20 years.

Silvia García Méndez

Communications Manager

With over 15 years of experience in communication, innovation, and strategic project execution. Her academic background includes a PDD from IESE (2022), a certification in Design Thinking from Ideo (2015), a Master’s in Marketing Management from ESIC (2012), and a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Barcelona (2009), she brings extensive expertise in leading innovation initiatives as a consultant in CINK and LLORENTE & CUENCA. Her role involves navigating the entire innovation lifecycle—from initial concept to full execution—combining strategic project management with event facilitation to deliver impactful outcomes and implementing marketing and communication strategies that drive awareness and engagement. Her work focuses on managing strategic projects, aligning cross-functional teams, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment, applying an experimental mindset through the use of new tools and methodologies to address partner challenges.

Adrián Guerricagoitia Salvador

Project Manager

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from UPC, and Postgraduate Degree in Digital Transformation of SMEs from EADA.
A specialist in consulting project management, he serves as a project manager primarily on projects related to the mobility sector. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with both public and private clients in the sectors of mobility, transportation, circular economy, and energy transition. His experience has enabled him to develop a cross-functional and multidisciplinary vision, with a strong commitment to aligning objectives and results for various clients, constantly seeking opportunities to apply solutions and best practices across sectors.

Adrián Paniagua Sánchez

Technical Innovation Project Manager

Expert in technology and innovation project management, specializing in the fintech sector and payment technologies. With a solid background as a software engineer and experience in startups and tech companies, he currently leads innovation projects at Payment Innovation Hub, where he oversees initiatives that integrate advanced technology with business strategies. His role focuses on identifying technological opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and optimizing end-user experiences, all aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

He has worked on key technology implementation projects in fields like artificial intelligence, fintech, and digital marketing. His expertise spans from the creation and execution of solutions to overseeing implementation processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure impactful results. Currently, he is also pursuing a degree in Marketing to complement his technical profile with deep insights into marketing and product strategy.

Xavier Mampel Giner

Finance Manager

Finance professional with over eight years of experience in control, financial analysis, and reporting within the retail e-commerce sector, leading teams and overseeing the preparation and presentation of key financial reports. Holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona and a Postgraduate in Web Analytics & Digital Business from Inesdi Business Techschool. Combines financial expertise with an analytical and technological approach to enhance decision-making efficiency. Passionate about innovation in the financial sector and process automation, with extensive knowledge of analysis and management tools such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and A3.

Toni Felguera Segador

CTO/Technology Expert

Computer Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Executive MBA from EADA, and Master’s Degree in Innovation Management from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). For more than 25 years, he has dedicated his career to the innovative application of technology to the generation of business value, holding management positions – CIO/CTO – both on the client side (Viladomat Sports, EADA, CPM, Winparf) as well as on the provider side (Catalan Institute of Technology and Barcelona Digital Technological Center – currently Eurecat -). His dedication to technological innovation has been reflected in creating different startups (Viuing, Tartadictos) and writing various papers, patents, and international standards. He has led numerous innovation projects -some of them international European FP7 / H2020 projects- and actively collaborated with the European Commission as an evaluator of innovation projects. In the field of teaching and dissemination, he has been a visiting professor at different institutions and has participated in various conferences and presentations as an expert in technology innovation.

Cristina Araúz Lombardía

Project Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Barcelona, Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and PhD in Applied Mathematics, both from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Specializing in innovation and strategic consulting, she serves as a project manager, primarily focusing on projects related to new technologies and trends. Throughout her career as a strategist and innovation project leader, she has collaborated with renowned clients in various sectors, including food industry, energy, mobility, last-mile logistics, infrastructure management, and entrepreneurship, among others, and also in the public sector. Thanks to this experience, she has developed a cross-functional perspective that enables her to import knowledge and best practices from other industries. Previously, she worked as a pricing analyst in the travel industry.

Guadalupe Scioscia

Office Manager

She is a proactive and dynamic professional with a multidisciplinary background that spans sports coaching, language teaching, and office administration. Currently serving as an Office Manager, she ensures smooth internal operations, provides crucial administrative support to the finance department, and contributes to event planning and organization within the workspace. With a strong ability to adapt and collaborate across diverse fields, she brings a unique blend of skills that enhance organizational efficiency and foster a positive, productive work environment.

Ada Cervera

UX Research

Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Postgraduate in Marketing from UPF and Executive Master’s in Marketing from EADA.
More than 20 years of experience in market research at a national and international level from a client and consulting point of view and additional experience in innovative and UX research methodologies in recent years, doing co-creations, ideation and creative workshops on several industries providing a 360º process view (insights and strategy).

Pilar López Pérez

Project Manager

Specialist in management of projects in innovation, marketing and communication. Master in Advertising and Business Communication and specialist in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience from ESIC. Currently Project Manager and supporting the area of communication through dialogue with partners, management of the project pipeline, planning and follow-up of solutions. In her trajectory as Key Account Manager she has worked with world-class clients, leading entrepreneurship projects, labs of innovation and marketing. In the field of communication she has been responsible in public institutions focused on institutional communication, strategic definition, implementation of marketing initiatives and management of multidisciplinary events.
