Payment Innovation Hub
Welcome to the hub
We are a joint venture from CaixaBank, Global Payments Inc, Visa, Samsung, and Arval that jointly promotes R&D projects on new payment and commerce solutions. This enables us to respond to new trends and consumer demands.
At the Hub we work on various research areas ranging from the use of biometrics to the application of the Internet of Things, including the use of new technology such as blockchain and machine learning.
As an open innovation platform, our mission is the agile development of prototypes by identifying market challenges.
A commitment to research and the spread of knowledge that fosters the collaboration and co-creation of innovative solutions in payment methods in sectors such as, for example, tourism, restaurants, and transport, amongst others.
Innovating means defining challenges and promoting a better understanding of emerging technologies. To do so, we combine our partners’ expertise with an agile working method, to explore and market test each and every prototype we design.discover more
